Amazon offers the Pixel 6A at a great price for Android Days

Just as you were getting ready to wish your loved ones happy Honda Days, Amazon launched a new business holiday on our calendars: Android Days. Apparently, today is the first day of Android Days, and as scary as that sounds, there are actually some really good deals out there, starting with our favorite mid-range Android phone of the year: the Google Pixel 6A. Usually $449, it’s marked down to $369 right now, an $80 discount.

You don’t need to be a Prime member to get the deal, and naturally you can find good prices on other Android phones, like the OnePlus Nord N20 5G, marked down from $299 to $259. It’s a great option if you’re looking to spend a little less than mid-range prices, and it also offers fast cable charging. On the other side of the price scale, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is significantly lowered from $799 to $649. Given that the S23 is shaping up to be a pretty minor upgrade, picking up its predecessor at a discount might not be a bad move.

Google's Pixel 6A stands out among the $500 phones.

Google Pixel 6A

Google’s Pixel 6A comes with a relatively small 6.1-inch OLED screen, but it packs a punch with a good camera and battery life.

OnePlus Nord N20 5G

The N20 5G includes a 6.4-inch 1080p display with a fast fingerprint sensor, as well as fast wired charging with the charger included in the box.

Android Days is a 48-hour event, so you have a little time to think about it. And if you’d rather not deal with Amazon, you can still get a really good price on the Pixel 6A directly from Google – it’s offering a $300 discount if you trade in your old phone. Judging by the fact that a Pixel 3A with a cracked screen qualifies for a $295 credit, Google is being pretty generous with its age and status allowances.
