Apple iPhone 14 release date: New phone likely weeks away

Rumored Apple iPhone 14 he’ll probably get his big reveal at the company September 7 press event, with many signs pointing to a mid-September launch for the new phones. The reveal event is expected to include a iPhone 14 larger, not Pro along with potential changes to the iPhone lineup design, price Y new features.

Since iPhones are typically reserved on Fridays of the same week as your event, we’re expecting that to happen this year on Friday, September 9. iPhone release dates are typically a week and a half after Apple’s announcements. Release dates are sometimes staggered for specific models, especially when a new design or size is introduced. So it’s possible that the iPhone 14 lineup has more than one release date.

This year’s event also follows the Labor Day Hypothesis that CNET has been diving into since 2018. It hasn’t always followed suit, as the hypothesis didn’t come true in 2020 or 2021, and it’s still possible that the reported supply chain issues for the iPhone 14 could affect its eventual release date. A recent report by Bloomberghowever, he suggested a September 7 release along with a September 16 release date. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that he has quelled some of those supply chain fears, saying it should only have a “limited” impact, in a July Twitter Post.
