At Destiny 2 Showcase, Bungie has revealed that the Season 18 (Season of Plunder) raid will be King’s Fall returning from its predecessor on August 26, 2022. Along with the King’s Fall raid, Season 18 will also feature the return of Eramis, who has escaped from an icy prison. You will have to stop her with your Drifter and your crew. Check out the reveal trailers here:
From the farthest reaches of the Hive Dreadnaught, Oryx draws on the power of Darkness. Infiltrate the Taken King’s lair and claim the weapons and armor within.
Eramis, awakened from her icy prison by a dark benefactor, has gathered the old pirate lords of Eliksni legend to help her recover lost relics of great power…unless you loot them first. There is no horizon to reach, no edge on the map, but there is certainly a treasure. Assemble your crew, Guardian.
Engage in ship-to-ship combat to stop Eramis and his pirate crew from wreaking havoc across the galaxy in this new 6-player activity.
Aside from this, the developers have also revealed that all previous Destiny 2 expansions up to Lightfall are free for the entire week on all platforms. Destiny 2 Season 18 begins today, August 23, with Patch 6.20. The game is available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Google Stadia, and PC. Visit the official Bungie website for more information.
