A reliable leaker claims that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 will not feature a Marvel-centric theme, unlike Chapter 2’s fourth season.
The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 event in 2020 proved momentous, thanks in large part to a Marvel theme that centered around the Eater of Worlds: Galactus.
This particular season also allowed players to unlock skins for a host of Marvel characters, including Groot, Thor, Wolverine, and She-Hulk.
Rumors about the Battle Pass for the upcoming fourth season of Chapter 3 have convinced some that the Marvel Universe will soon be taking center stage again.
New leak sets thematic expectations for Fortnite Season 4
According to the well-known Fortnite leaker HIPEXthe next season of Fortnite will not revolve around Marvel heroes and villains.
HYPEX pointed this out in a recent Twitter post, to which another tipster: FNBRIntel – responded by stating that at least one Marvel skin should appear in the Season 4 Battle Pass.
Leak history aside, Fortnite faithful should take all of the above with a grain of salt for now. In particular, Epic Games has yet to discuss its plans for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, which is expected to arrive in the second half of this month.
The third season of Chapter 3 debuted earlier this summer in June, introducing players to a laid-back summer theme about “Vibin’.”
Of course, some additional weapons, map changes, and Battle Pass deals also entered the mix. And the new characters included movie icons like Darth Vader and Indiana Jones.
Suffice to say, whatever Epic Games has in store for the upcoming season of Chapter 3 will have some pretty big shoes to fill.
