The 2022 Pokémon World Championships might be over, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more quality Poké content on the way. Today, Pokémon Unite took to Twitter to lay out the roadmap for the next month of updates, detailing which fighters will join the fray next, and indicating when you’ll be able to take on Classic and Legendary Trainers in Theia Sky Ruins. .
The new battle arena was revealed last week, and Rayquaza appears to be the Legendary Pokémon that will dominate the season. The last wave saw Glaceon, Buzzwole, and Tyranitar enter the game, and today’s announcement reveals more new fighters you’ll be able to use in legendary battle, as Unite begins its third wave of Pokémon releases.
Mew, Dodrio, and Scizor will be the latest ‘mons’ to join Unite’s ever-growing roster on September 2, 14, and 28, respectively. The roadmap also outlines when we can expect to be able to challenge the classic legacy trainers in the ‘Legacy Trainer Showdown’, which will kick off in early September.
All of these new events and updates are one thing, but we think the real star of the Pokémon Unite post is seeing Mew in disguise – check out his Shoes!
It looks like the events will kick off in early September and the Pikachu-themed Pika Party will come to an end in the next few days.
